More Battery Options
One of the biggest changes is battery flexibility.
The UPS1048V2 platform now offers multiple AGM and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) configurations:
7Ah AGM | 12Ah AGM | 12Ah LFP | 30Ah LFP
This allows customers to select the battery configuration that best matches their required runtime, application, and deployment environment.
For applications requiring extended backup time, the new 30Ah LFP configuration provides up to 1,440Wh of nominal stored energy.
Faster Battery Charging
Backup power is only useful when the batteries are ready for the next outage.
The new UPS1048V2 features an upgraded rectifier and an adjustable charging current from 0.5A to 1.5A, allowing the battery bank to recover faster following a discharge event.
The system also provides selectable AGM and LFP charging profiles, allowing the UPS1048V2 platform to support different battery technologies from the same next-generation architecture.
More Protection. More Flexibility.
UPS1048V2 also introduces additional protection and configuration capabilities, including:
Overload Protection • Over-Voltage Protection • Short-Circuit Protection • Deep-Discharge Protection • Over-Temperature Protection
The DC output can also be adjusted from 46V to 58.4V, providing additional flexibility for compatible 48V DC equipment.
Optional Remote Management
For applications that require greater visibility and control, the UPS1048V2 is also available in managed configurations featuring the UPMS2000 Power Management System.
UPMS2000 adds remote monitoring, alarms, event logging, system management, MQTT, and Modbus TCP capabilities.
