Inscape Data’s AirEtherTM BR108 Backhaul Wireless Bridge product is designed for carrier-class outdoor long-range wireless communications, based on IEEE802.11a standards using 5GHz frequency.Designed with 200mW transmission power, the BR 108 is ideal for point-to-point or point-to-multi-point wireless long-haul communications. The BR108 features an IP68-compliant weather-proof housing and an external connector for connecting with a specific antenna type, e.g., PA5G21 or SA5G1521. Inscape Data’s BR108 is ideal for a variety of outdoor applications, such as remote subscribers or long-haul wireless backbone.
The AirEther BR108 offers two data rates, based on the IEEE802.11a mode and the turbo mode. When the bridge operates under the IEEE802.11a mode, it supports data rates up to 54Mbps. Under the IEEE 802.11a turbo mode, it supports data rates to 108Mbps.
Our BR108 includes the Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature, which allows power and data transmitted over a single network cable. This featuremakes for convenient and simple installation. When you use the LPS1000 Outdoor PoE Switch and network with any of ourWireless AB54 / AB54E / AB54E Pro or the NVC Series Cameras, all the wireless devices and the cameras are networked within a single outdoor LAN (local Area Network).It becomes much easier to manage, integrate, install, maintain, and troubleshoot.Based on Inscape Data's patent-pending technology, our new Outdoor PoE Switch greatly lessens challenges for outdoor LAN design, integration, and deployment.
